Use Time Wisely

Our School Environment

All those associated with Swindon Village Primary School are very proud of the environment in which we learn, teach, grow and play.

We encourage each individual to be responsible for the environment on a local and global scale so that we can all enjoy our surroundings far into the future.
Over the last couple of years a nature area has been established in the corner of the School by the car park. It includes a wildlife pond and various shrubs. This is where our compost bins are. Every day all the fruit and vegetable waste is emptied into them.
Look under the Gallery section to see some upto date photos showing progress being made on and around the pond.

The school also recycles the plastic milk bottles.
The Staff and Pupils of Swindon Village Primary School would like to take you on a tour of the classrooms and the rest of the school.

Here is the main entrance of the school. (on the right )

The music room is now used for two purposes.

The musical instruments are stored in there and it still is used for music lessons. As you can see in this picture above, the school even has its own drum kit!

However, to the right of the room is a kitchen area as you can see on the left. This area is used by the cookery club and each class when they are cooking during their lessons.
